Two big films are going to release on August 14 (Thursday). One is Rajinikanth's Coolie and the other is Hrithik and Jr NTR's War-2. AAMIR KHAN will also be seen doing a cameo role in the film Coolie, while as per reports, PATHAAN and TIGER may also be seen in the post-credit scene of War 2. The audience and trade are very excited about both the films. Recently, the advance booking of both the films has opened. Although there are still some issues regarding the screens, advance booking has started at maximum places. If we look at the current status of advance booking, Coolie is still far ahead of War-2. Worldwide, Coolie has collected 70-72 crores so far, while War-2 has only collected 11-12 crores. The activity at the ticket window regarding the advance booking of War-2 seems to be less than 'Saiyaara'. In such a situation, War-2 needs a boost at any cost. Although there are still 3 days left, War-2, a big budget film of the SPY universe with a big star cast, has been a bit disappointing so far. We hope that the situation will definitely improve in the coming days and the film will get a big opening.
If we talk about Coolie, it has been tremendous. Even at this age, people are going crazy to see Rajinikanth's film. The film may break the record in advance booking in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The film has also done good advance booking in North India. If we talk about overseas, Coolie has done tremendous advance booking there too. Currently, if we talk about the trend, then Coolie is ahead among the two films.
It will be interesting to see how much both the films affect the audience in the coming days. Hopefully both the films will rock the box office.
