Concerns Regarding the Tournament:

Although the BCCI has announced the Indian squad for the Asia Cup today, the Government of India has not yet issued any official statement regarding the team’s participation. On various social media platforms, Indian fans have expressed strong opposition to a potential match between India and Pakistan.

Following the terrorist attack in April, diplomatic relations between the two countries have worsened. In such a sensitive situation, the possibility of an India vs Pakistan match has led to increased public outrage, creating a complicated scenario around the tournament.
