Triple win for Shah Rukh Khan: National Award for Jawan, Aryan’s Netflix debut shines, and KKR clinches 5th CPL title!
It’s time for celebration for Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his fans! First, his son Aryan Khan’s directorial debut “Bads of Bollywood” has been receiving positive reviews and great response. Then, the Trinbago Knight Riders clinched their 5th CPL championship title and finally, after 33 years in the film industry, Shah Rukh Khan has been honored with the National Award for Best Actor giving SRK and his fans a perfect reason to celebrate!
At the 71st National Awards ceremony, Shah Rukh Khan was presented with the Best Actor award by Hon'ble President Droupadi Murmu for his performance in Jawan. Despite his long and highly successful career, this marks the first time SRK has received the National Award for Best Actor.
Directed by South Indian filmmaker Atlee, Jawan was released in September 2023 and became a massive box office success, earning a record-breaking ₹1150 crore worldwide. The film's romantic track "Chaleya" also earned Shilpa Rao the National Award for Best Female Playback Singer.

Over his decades-long career, Shah Rukh Khan has delivered powerful performances in iconic films like Baazigar, Darr, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, Dil Se, Devdas, Swades, Veer-Zaara, Chak De India, My Name is Khan, Fan, and Raees. Apart from this, SRK has many other massive blockbuster movies like DDLJ and KKHH that were greatly loved by the audience, but we couldn't mention all of them here. Through his movies, SRK has opened up numerous new overseas markets for Bollywood. In a recent interview, director Anurag Kashyap shared how in Berlin, Germany, people stood in long lines not for Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio, but to catch a glimpse of Shah Rukh Khan.

Meanwhile, his son Aryan Khan’s debut series “Bads of Bollywood” is trending on Netflix. The series is being loved by audiences and has received positive reviews from both critics and viewers. The performances of Bobby Deol, Emraan Hashmi, Lakshay Sen, and Raghav Juyal are being especially praised.

Currently, Shah Rukh Khan is busy shooting for his upcoming film King. After receiving his award, he is expected to return to the set and resume work with the King team.
